Types of submissions
Written Stories
News reports, feature articles, opinion pieces, and community updates. We accept submissions in English and Arabic.
Photo & Video
Documentary photographs, short video reports, and visual stories from community events and daily life.
Audio & Tips
Voice recordings, audio interviews, and news tips. Especially valuable for contributors in areas with limited internet.
Submission guidelines
Accuracy
All submissions must be factually accurate. Include names, dates, and locations where possible. If you are reporting on an event, describe what you observed directly.
Attribution
Credit all sources. If you quote someone, include their name and role (with their consent). If you use data, cite the source.
Consent
If your submission includes photographs or recordings of individuals, ensure you have their informed consent. This is especially important for vulnerable populations.
Originality
Submissions must be original work. Do not submit content that has been published elsewhere without disclosing this. Plagiarism will result in permanent rejection.
What We Do Not Accept
We do not publish hate speech, incitement to violence, unverified rumors, or content that deliberately misrepresents facts. Submissions that violate these standards will be rejected.
How to submit
Prepare your content
Write your story, gather your photos or recordings, and ensure everything meets our guidelines above.
Send to our editorial team
Email your submission to [email protected] with the subject line 'Story Submission: [Your Title]'. Include your name, location, and contact information.
Editorial review
Our editorial team will review your submission within 5-7 working days. We may contact you for clarification or additional information.
Publication
If accepted, your story will be edited for clarity and accuracy (with your approval), then published on our platform with full attribution to you.
